Feeds now available through ModMyiFone.com repository

Yesterday, Kyle from ModMyiFone.com contacted me and offered me to host my iPhone app Feeds for me. This means that you won’t have to add any custom sources to your Installer.app any more in order to download Feeds. I will still keep my old repository but will only use it for test builds, so you might want to stay away from it ;) Thanks also to Fabiano, who offered me to put my app on iSpazio and the over 1′000 people who’ve already installed my application.

To keep track of bugs and feature requests, I also set up a project page on Google Code, so it would be great if you could post them there.

    Congratulations, the app is great!

I’ve unsubscribed from some feeds in Google Reader, but they didn’t disappear from my list in the Ipod Feeds, what can i do?

    Please, reply by mail.

    Cheers

I have the same problem. Any thoughts?

    You rock!!

This is an awesome app, way better than a standalone RSS client on the iPhone for all the reasons you cited ;) Sort of like IMAP vs POP, really.

I have just one itsy bitsy problem with feeds.. it doesn’t seem to handle one of my feeds correctly. Perhaps due to ‘?’ or ‘=’…

    This is the address:

Hope this contribute to fixing the minor kinks still in Feeds to make it _flawless_!

    Cheers!

@Leo: I’m glad you like it ;) The feed you mentioned is — as you guessed correctly — causing problems because of the ‘?’ in the URL. This issue will be resolved in version 0.3 which I’m planning to release in the next few days.

Same thing about the “My unsubscribed feeds are still there”-bug.

I’d like to add my hearty thanks for a super app!

Also, I was wondering… how hard would it be to set up something, say–in crontab–to automatically sync the feeds every morning? It’d be neat to have it all ready to go as I head out the door on those mornings when I’m running late and I grab the iPhone on my way out the door. (Is crontab even available on this kernel?)
